Cat Doll House

A fun commission for Edinburgh's one and only cat café, Maison de Moggy.

My brief was to design and build a huge doll's house......for cats obviously.

The client and I were keen to create something to complement the existing the style of the cafe and to that end my design was heavily influenced by French town house architecture.

The house was built using a combination of 18 and 12mm Birch ply. I incorporated Louvre style window shutters, scalloped roof tiles on a mansard roof and several pieces of miniature bespoke furniture, including 19th century beds and sofa.
